It was a very frustrating experience using it, when you're actually able to use it. This version is a little more costly but it's pretty straight forward, simple to use, and a lot more reliable. Cons: There are issue I experience and some of them can be addressed with 3rd party software, except for the sound issues - No matter what flash drive I used or format (FAT32, exFAT, NTFS), there were still corrupted parts of the video. I have to convert the video with MP4Tools to correct the mistakes. - The color is a little washed out. I have to process the video in iMovie to correct the color and black levels. - Sound is extremely low, have to do audio analysis in iMovie and adjust. - Sound is extremely inconsistent when just viewing movies/shows. Is always very low when streaming video, except for advertisements. There is quite a noticeable difference in volume when an ad is playing.
