Machine launches the ball roughly around 6 meters before it bounces. The ball takes flight quite high and reaches 7 foot which hits our ceiling as we have low ceilings so indoor use is limited to certain areas of the house. Overall a really good build and sturdy machine. Real good value for money Review: Spoilt my nephews Christmas - After ten minutes of use, ball got lodged under feeder arm and no way of getting it out- cannot use and ruined my nephew’s Christmas, he was in tears . If you wanted to use this for tennis, I would not recommend it. There are better alternatives. If you wanted to use it for cricket, the balls are basically bowling machine balls so will bounce on any hard surface. There is no reason why you could not use tennis balls.
