It is perhaps more than I need and I may order something smaller. It is very heavy (to me) for its' size BUT that is the nature of batteries at this time and NOT the seller/manufacturer's fault. It is no heavier than depicted in the description. It is roughly the same size as my smartphone but weighs at least twice as much.This battery takes about 8 hours to recharge but I just throw it on to charge at night. It adds an extra 4 to 6 hours of time to my smartphone depending on what I am doing. This timing is based on using internet applications and what ever connection strength I have. If, however, I am just making phone calls or reading a book that is on my hard drive, the battery will last much longer.
