Ingredients listed are: Isopropyl Alcohol, Butyl Ester of PVM/MA Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate. It does have an initial strong Isopropyl Alcohol smell, then a nail polish like smell. After applied to the skin and dried, there is a very faint chemical smell. I do not see that a fragrance is specifically added to the product. Leave an area around the size of a pencil eraser clear (NO Skin-Prep) where the needle will penetrate the skin. I also use them for my Insulin Pump **Q: Used patch over freestyle libre sensor, patch super adhesive painful to remove. Do I use this before applying patch & much less pain removing patch?** A: You use this product before applying freestyle libre as you would to clean the area. We found another product that helps the sensor to stick and stay in place. It is called Skin Tac Wipe and adhesive barrier wipe. Your wipe the area where you are placing the new sensor. Wait for it to dry then apply the sensor. It will stay on for the entire 14 days. It is hard to remove. When I remove it I need to tug it gently to remove. Sometimes a thin layer from the sensor remains on the arm. I hope this answer is helpful.
