That's when I bought this. She's now almost 2 and 110lbs. She snapped it tonight. However! I live in Wisconsin, and I have a second dog also on a tieout that they get intertwined and winter elements. So for anyone who is looking for a solid lead, I recommend. Under the understanding that they will deteriorate over time. I will buy again as there is no other option for me in store for my big girl. Edit: I bought a second one in June and it snapped last night(Dec). It's been bitter cold and my 60lbs dog was on it thankfully and has a great recall.
