## Description

Tell pesky parasites to ‘bug off’ with the Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Treatment for Cats and Kittens. Each convenient and easy to apply, single dose tube kills fleas and deer ticks. Also repels mosquitos. Use only on cats and kittens 12 weeks and older weighing 5 pounds and over. Package contains three treatments —a three-month supply. Directions: Remove one applicator tube from package and hold in an upright position away from your face. Pull off cap. Turn the cap around and place on top of tube. Simply press cap down to break the seal of the tube and remove cap carefully. Position the tip of the tube at the base of the pet's back between the shoulder blades and squeeze out the entire contents of the tube to form a stripe as you move from the shoulder blades along the back to the base of the tail. The treated area may appear oily after application. Repeat every month. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged or medicated pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amount of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

The cat had to go thru cortisone treatment to help clearing the rash. After the rash cleared the cat was left with thickened skin where the product was applied.

**Q: How is this stuff legal to be on the shelves???!  My cat now has a raw hamburger patch and completely missing all fur in the area the med. was applied**
A: Hertz is actually extremely dangerous for pets. Just spoke to my vet after my cat had burn marks on his skin after application and my vet filled me in that Hertz is known for seizures and burning. Terrible product to put on your pet. Never buy this crap.

**Q: What is the chemical in this product?**
A: Im no vet im not sure even with tablets but it works,if your dog is kept in out of yard.And

**Q: Can this be used again if cat was bathed 2 weeks after first applied?**
A: My groomer said 2 days after a bath you can use it.  I will never recommend this product.  It burnt my cat's skin.  She knows I put it on her so she thinks I hurt her, which makes me very sad.

**Q: I have two stray cats and the older one is losing hair on his tail. Could it be caused by ticks and fleas? Also can I mix in there food?**

This product is so horrible it burned my cat’s skin and left a bald spot. This is my biggest regret. My cat was suffering from burned skin for 2 weeks. Pls do not use this product. This should be banned from any platform.
