**Q: What do you do with this thing? I am a grandma.  Help**
A: I have purchased it for my son he is 4 year old and he is so excited to see this elusion/magic type of thing so its good for kids

**Q: can the effect be seen by a one-eyed person?**
A: Depends on where they're looking, doesn't it?

**Q: Everyone says the frog is too big, but no one says how big an object will work well. What Size does the object have to be?**
A: I had great luck using (A) a single Cheerio; (B) a Lego piece, the smallest one they make with a single bump on it; (C) a small marble; (D) a ‘Go’ game playing piece a bit less than 1/2” in diameter; (E) a dime. The problem with the frog which is about 1” in all dimensions is that from many viewing angles you go beyond the edge of what the mirascope can handle, so the frog only works perfectly from a very precise viewing position. The height of the object is more an issue than the diameter. The smaller items will work from many more viewing positions. Small items like the cheerio, for example, are startling how well it works — you would swear the cheerio is right there, but it’s not.

**Q: how does it work for a dog treat?**
A: What dog doesn't like optical illusion?  A treat for me and a treat for the dog to play with.

I had gotten this little optical illusion device for my great niece, whom from what I was told, ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! As did her dad, who told me how much she liked it & how even HE was enjoying playing around with it! I remembered seeing it as a kid myself, (yes, it’s been around THAT long) and how - since then it was kind of new - tripped out / impressed I was with it. Thought it would make a great gift, and I was RIGHT!

As a kid, I saw one of these in a science shop and was absolutely fascinated by it. Today, I'm still fascinated by it! Purchased for a kid, and guess what, that kid was also fascinated by it! This thing is MAGIC. Well...not like real, Wingardium Leviosa magic, but Science Magic. Put an item in the bottom and it reflects to the top opening, and is 3 dimensional. The reflected image is slightly lower contrast but it looks like it is there. You try to grab it with your fingers and there's nothing there. Very very cool! What kid wouldn't like it!? Help get your kids excited in science. Buy them this amazing muggle device then tell them what the purpose of a rubber duck is. Works best with small items like the size of nickel. Comes with a little plastic frog.
