I operate a small manufacturing company and needed an economical and sturdy way to limit access to our outside shipping dock. I wanted a crowd control device that was durable and would work outdoors without rusting. I had purchased other plastic stanchions and bases but they were very flimsy, looked cheap and the chain was not included (but of course was available for an additional cost). The ChainBoss is a regular size stanchion with a prefilled (or empty) base and includes chain, hooks and a locking top to keep the chain at a desired length. Assembly required not tools and literally only took a few seconds. I am very happy with this product and will be ordering more for use in the factory.
