Measure for needed width carefully before buying. I'm glad that I did not spend more on the higher end aluminum versions. Used to install a large rooftop carrier from Yakima on a station wagon. No regrets once I got over the price of the entire system. Now I have something that I can put on for loaded car trips that should last for well over a decade.
