The mirror is adjustable to many different positions, and it seems pretty well constructed. I've read other reviews where they say it broke during install, but I didn't have any problems at all...maybe they got a bad one, but mine seems tough.The suction cup is great, and even stays on when going over big wakes with my boat which can be quite a jarring experience.The size of the mirror is just about right. Not too big or small. It doesn't seem to get in the way too bad when driving the boat. Also it gives you a pretty good view of what's going on behind you.Overall, I'm very pleased with this item because it works good and didn't cost much money at all. There are other mirrors out there that cost 5 times as much and don't seem to do much more than this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ like having eyes in the back of your head *by on Reviewed in the United States September 3, 2011* I looked at all the other mirrors advertised and reviewed. Most mirrors are for cars and are made out of plastic with a reflective coating and don't give a great image. I believe this mirror might actually made of glass. I don't know if mirrors for cars cannot be made of glass due to regulations but I guess it does not apply to this product because it is for a boat. I use it in an RV because the RV has no rearview mirror. I needed a way to keep and eye on the kids without turning around. The field of view is perfect. The suction cup worked perfect and stayed on the windshield even when left up for several weeks. In side the accordian rubber boot is a series of nuckles to get the perfect bend and you can tighten the nuckles if you you need to. Over all this mirror worked perfect. Not only is this a value, but I could not find another mirror at any price that would do what I needed to do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great mirror with one significant (but fixable) flaw. *by on Reviewed in the United States July 22, 2015* I purchased this for use as a baby mirror to mount in my truck. Mirror glass quality is excellent. It has a convex surface which gives you a nice wide view of what your baby is doing. However, the suction cup window mount leaves much to be desired, it continuously loses suction pressure and falls off the window, especially in outdoor temps over 80°F. For a few more bucks, you can replace the mount with a Garmin Navigation Lever-type Suction Mount from Amazon and you will have an excellent baby mirror. The Garmin mount has an excellent tight fit in the mirror with no modification required at all. The only tool you need to do the upgrade is a Phillips screwdriver.
