**Q: how can this tape be used in accordance with astm d3359 with a 2" width?  the spec states the tape needs to be 1" wide.**
A: For coatings with a thickness of 121-250 μm, blades with a spacing of 3 mm are required,
It will form a 30 * 30mm square lattice (a total of 100 small square lattices)
An inch of tape doesn't cover that completely.....

This tape seems expensive when you compare it to other normal use tapes but it's a relatively inexpensive and easy way to test the coatings than many other methods. If you are a professional who test the coatings to see if they are adequate and done right, this is the coating testing tape for you. It includes a detail instruction manual for its specific uses. Truly professional and quality tapes for the job.
