If the hose is not properly connected to the piping the piping actually will light up when the burner and hose meet. The second concern i had was that the plastic feet on the bottom makes the entire move around. Anyone that does wok cooking knows that there is alot of movement going on with wok. That aside the flame is very strong and really gives that wok hei.
