I need pockets as follows: one for the dog treats, so my Border Terrier comes back when called; one for the bags to pick up what the dog does (ahem!); and one for my mobile phone. Cargo combat jeans are the ideal solution and I would recommend these for men or women. The size was as expected, and they actually fit me! I am 42 inch waist and 46 inch hips. Ladies, if you are of generous proportions and fed up with ridiculously tight skinny jeans, try these Cargo Combat Jeans! They are not heavy-duty stiff material but fairly light denim, soft, comforatable and ideal for wearing in the spring and summer. They have button flies reminiscent of Levi 501s, if you can remember that far back! Fit for me is excellent. They're well finished, and although I don't care much for the embroidery it doesn't bother me, because it's not all that obtrusive (partly because I don't tuck my shirt in when I wear jeans, and partly because I ordered these primarily for wearing them to work, but since I find them comfy and practical I'll be wearing them casually as well). I like the fact that there's a bit of stretch to them (although I wouldn't call them 'stretch jeans' like those I used to wear when I was young), because it makes them just that little bit more comfortable. Before I bought them I read some reviews saying these jeans had a 'chemical smell' to them. Maybe those were not the bluejeans? In any case, nothing wrong with these jeans IMHO.
