These pans are terrible. Buy All Clad. I'm serious. I love Le Creuset cast iron but these pans a junk and I'm out about $700. I'm on here right now to order a 10 inch All Clad to replace this stained piece of junk. I'm hoping I can keep the rest of them nice. they stain like crazy. Food stains and if you don't hand dry them, water stains. I'm furious right now at how bad this set is. you've been warned and i'm being serious. **Q: This cookware is made in Portugal and not France? That seems odd.** A: Yes, it seems odd but it is true. **Q: Where is this set made?** A: We do not sell this particular set but I believe it's made in Portugal, if it's like the stainless steel Le Creuset that we carry. **Q: Can you use "Bar Keepers" to clean the pans?** A: I have used stainless pots and pans my entire life. I just let my pans soak in hot, soapy water for a bit, then get my green square Scoth Brite pad out and clean it out with that before using a cloth rag. Works great every time, and it's just what I do to clean these types of pans. The green Scoth Brite has never damaged any of my pans either. I did have to use Bar Keepers friend on the inside once when I burned green beans to the point of lots of smoke. It worked wonders! That was 10 or more years ago and the pan still looks great.
