Review: My dogs love it, and it's plant-based. - Best vegan dog foodd out there! I am a vegan, and I wanted to look into my dogs being vegan. After consulting with my vet on nutritional considerations I landed on Halo and Natural Balance. I mix them 1 to 1 so they are getting a complete nutritional profile, along with buddy biscuits and naturally sourced antlers my dogs are extremely happy, healthy, and energetic. It's a little pricey, but I get a bag about every 6 weeks, I should probably subscribe as I could save myself some money, but I don't want bags sitting around waiting to be used, so I order when I need it.
Review: Great choice - Our dog loves it. It soothes his stomach and the ingredients are easy to digest. He loves the flavor

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I FINALLY found a truly safe AND complete dog food!
*by A***R on April 5, 2025*

After more than 4 years of ingesting this food, my small breed rescue pooch has made, AND maintained, a REMARKABLE recovery from being a 10 lb underweight malnourished, and otherwise health neglected being! I do feed him a rotation of other vegan foods as well. Variety's of the utmost importance, for many reasons, including staving off developing allergies to any single food. Not only has this food proven to me to be safe and effective, providing all & more of the canine dietary essentials, it's one of the very few dry foods that incorporates Selenium Yeast INSTEAD OF Sodium Selenite!!! Check those two out and compare, for your loved one's safety/health!! I tend to soak kibble (in water that tests clear of detrimental contents) more than not, and mix in other beneficial ingredients -- NOT simply rely on dry kibble bits day in and day out! That'd be torture on multiple levels, even for canines, who tend not to stop and chew most food, thus not generally taste it. (But aroma, that's another thing!) My fur baby's even spunkier, and with a sheeny shiney coat, moist cool nose, sparkly eyes...even more so now than when he was HALF his present age! I'd say this base nutrition has done a LOT to help GET him there AND KEEP him there!
