This prenatal comes in a white capsule. I found it easy to swallow and it didn't leave my mouth with any fowl aftertaste. Additionally, my hands smelled like before. I have tried other prenatals that just made me want to gag based on the smell. This has a sufficient amount of folic acid and most other vitamins I look for. Overall, I am happy with these. I am currently a nursing mother and do notice an improvement with my nails and hair while taking this vitamin. It's a lot smaller that others which may come as a huge tablet. It was really easy to swallow. Those trying to conceive and are pregnant need adequate folic acid which this vitamin has (800 mcg). Pregnant women need choline and iron also. The recommendation for elemental iron is 27 mg/day and most prenatal vitamins have 30 mg. This one only has 2 mg (11% of needs) so I would have to buy an iron supplement in addition to this prenatal vitamin. That is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
