WARNING- this is only a connector-adaptor, NOT a voltage regulator, so ONLY use this with devices that are OK with 240 volt AC input (it should say in fine print on your adaptor). Most laptops/cell chargers/tablet chargers, etc. are okay with 110-240, so they'll be okay with this adaptor. DO NOT plug a surge-supressing power-strip into this. It will immediately KILL the power strip and short-out, flipping off the lights in your hotel room and leaving a cloud of smoke. (How do I know this?)

This is not a converter but nowadays many electronics and appliances work with dual voltage (120/240v). Before I used two prong Euro plugs in Italy (Euro plugs works in Italy in most major cities) but I feel safer and more solid fit with this Italy specific plugs, rather than trying to fit Euro plugs with unsteady insecure fit. I don't feel safe around 240 volts! My wife used her hair curlers which has dual voltage without any problem. I liked that this order came as two pack; I can use one for myself charging USB needs like tablet, phone, and mp3 players.

Worked great in Italian hotels and homes. Fits well into all outlets. Compact but rugged. WARNING- this is only a connector-adaptor, NOT a voltage regulator, so ONLY use this with devices that are OK with 240 volt AC input (it should say in fine print on your adaptor). Most laptops/cell chargers/tablet chargers, etc. are okay with 110-240, so they'll be okay with this adaptor. DO NOT plug a surge-supressing power-strip into this.
