I have purchased several expensive blackout curtains that have a paper like quality and do a poor job at blocking out light from rooms. These ones block out light really well, even during the day. My daughter sleeps like a baby while taking naps because the room is so dark. They are soft and lay nicely against the window. I purchased the dark gray color and they look fine, nothing fancy. I do wish they came in a variety of patterns as I find that most blackout curtains look really dull. Overall, I would recommend and plan to purchase a set for our master bedroom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product at a great price! *by J***N on November 19, 2019* I ordered two of these curtains in the navy blue color and I'm about to order more to put on other windows! These curtains really do a good job at blocking light, they slide easily on the curtain rod, and I love the color! The color, at least the navy blue, does seem accurate to what I received.Yes, perhaps they are not 100% blackout but compared to other brands of "blackout" curtains, these ones are better at blocking light. In the first two pictures, you can see how these curtains (the two hanging in the middle of the window) compare to another brand of "blackout" curtains (the two on either side of the window). And in the last picture you can see how a third brand (and this one with vinyl backing!) compares. The navy blue curtains by Deconovo clearly block more light. The coverage width of the two panels is about 74"The fourth picture shows how some light does penetrate through the curtains, but for my purposes it's not an issue. The fifth picture shows how one panel of these curtains fits over a ~40" wide window. As you can see you could get away with one panel on this size window, however two would be better.I have not washed them as they did not have a strong odor when I received them nor did they have any wrinkles. When I do eventually wash them, I plan to wash on cold and hang dry. I'll try to remember to update on how that turns out! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally found TRUE "blackout" curtains! *by D***1 on October 29, 2017* These are TRUE blackout curtains!!! FINALLY I found some curtains that you truly cannot see through. This is (almost) exactly what I was looking for! I went through several other curtains that claimed to be blackout curtains but really, they still let a lot of light through. I had to return several before finally finding these. These really don't let ANY light through, they're fantastic for both my office, where I have to do minute color adjustments on architectural illustrations on my computer monitor AND my bedroom, where the nearby train station's blinding lights keep me up all night unless I wear one of those sleeping blindfolds, which are really uncomfortable. So here are the pros and cons in my opinion:PROS:- They REALLY don't let ANY light in- They are made of very thick, high quality materials- They look fantastic - again, they appear to be high quality.- The metal rings also seem like they are made to last, no fringing of the cloth or anything like that around the ringsCONS:- Only one that I can think of and it's something really small: These are 42" in width, and while that will cover some smaller windows, it's slightly small for covering a standard 36.5" wide window. Especially if the double window has a center cap like mine. Due to the curtain needing to "wave" back and forth (because it's held by a curtain rod), the actual width comes out to around 37" total, which just barely covers the window. It would be really nice to see a wider option that we could choose. Perhaps one with a 60" width, which would cover the window and a center gap if you've got one (the center gaps are fairly typical).Overall though, I'd highly recommend these to anyone trying to "blackout" a room! These work better than any other curtains I've seen so far! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/27994288-deconovo-100-blackout-curtains-noise-reducing-thermal-insulated-drapes-grommet](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/27994288-deconovo-100-blackout-curtains-noise-reducing-thermal-insulated-drapes-grommet) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
