The adjusting knobs for tightening and loosing. There's even a metal rod you can use to keep the upright part from collapsing down which snaps into several pre drilled holes if you wish to use it. The only thing that might bother some folks is that it doesn't collapse and fold down as far as some that you can carry in a bag. But I've found that the types of stands that collapse and fold, etc for more convenient carrying are usually flimsier or have to be taken apart. Will the Pyle stand support the weight of this shield?** A: Mine does not. We are using it with a Yeti mic with an isolation shield and it seems that no matter how hard I tighten it, it droops. **Q: why are you limiting 3 per person? I want to order 5!** A: No clue. But in my experience, I would not purchase even one. The two I bought, not a single joint holds, no matter how tight I turn the screw.
