I only planned to use it on one or two areas of my body to try to reduce the visibility of my veins. I’m so pale. However, it worked so well I use it on most my body now, even my face. I only do it every few days but that’s really all you need. However, it does take a lot to cover most your body evenly to avoid streaking. That’s no fault of the product, just pointing it out so people are aware.It’s not my favorite smell ever, but it doesn’t smell bad at all. Especially considering it’s a self tanner. I have a sensitive nose and am pretty picky about that kind of thing, but I found it to be acceptable.It’s not greasy! I have very oily skin and was curious how it would work on my face and I am quite surprised and pleased that it doesn’t seem to make a noticeable difference. It helps moisturize without adding an oily or greasy feel.For those with acne issues like me, it’s not exactly good for my skin in areas where I have bigger pores cus it does tend to fill them just like any make up would but if you apply it evenly the skin is nicely tanned enough looking that acne is actually less noticeable in general than compared to standing out against pale skin so it’s kind of like make up in that aspect. You take the good with the bad. However, this product isn’t for acne so keep that in mind. I just wanted to state how it affected me personally since I have acne issues and wanted to know what it would do if I used it on my face.It’s not streaky! Of course you have to apply it evenly and be thorough, but that’s the case with any self tanner. This is nice and thick without feeling heavy and is easy enough to rub in and absorbs quickly.It works so much better than the Hempz Touch of Summer I used to use which barely changed my skin tone at all and I’m so pale it doesn’t take much to see a difference. One coating of this stuff and I already see a nice difference. It’s subtle but effective. It smells like candied dried banana slices... which to me is just about the most amazing thing ever. The lotion itself is a perfect consistency, easy to rub around, and doesn't dry too fast. I have had subtle and very even bronzing of my skin color. I will DEFINITELY purchase again. It's also a good price for the amount you receive.**For reference, I have previously liked jergens tanning lotion (fair-medium) and banana boat, but I wanted something organic and not full of cancer-causing chemicals.
