One review mentions alcohol?** A: The active ingredient is: "Calendula Officinalis 1X HPUS-10%". the inactive ingredients are: caprylyl glycol, carbomer, cetyl palmitate, EDTA disodium, glycerin, lauroyl macrogolglycerides, pegoxol-7 stearate, purified water, sodium hydroxide, sorbic acid, 1,2-hexanediol. While I don't know what all those ingredients are; I use this all the time, I love it. I use it on my eczema, bug bites, cuts, burns, scratches. It's amazing stuff and has a cooling effect. **Q: Can this work for chapped skin under nose from wearing a mask all day?** A: I applied the Caldera lotion twice a day, every day for a month to protect my skin from burning and/or blistering while undergoing daily radiation treatments for breast cancer. The radiation began after three surgeries and six weeks of chemotherapy so the radiation site was tender. Redness calms within 10 to 15 minutes and skin feels comfortably moisturized. A pea-sized amount goes a long way, so the tube lasts. Priced fairly and it stretches; one tube easily covers months of daily touch-ups. No extras or perfumes you do not need. Light cream, spreads smoothly, absorbs quickly, and does not leave a greasy film. Takes the sting out of small nicks and calms tight, dry skin. Great after washing hands a lot. Gentle and non-irritating for me. I still recommend a small patch test if you have very sensitive skin. Consistent texture, mild scent, no separation in the tube, and layers well under sunscreen or moisturizer.
