Review: DON’T GET CAUGHT BY AN INCORRECT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION! - Nowhere in the product descriptions did the Seller warn buyers that the power converter plug (supplied as USA 2-pin when unpacked) is NOT SUITABLE in countries where mains electric power is delivered at higher voltages. In other words, the product as described and as supplied is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE in the United Kingdom … other than on batteries ONLY. I did not want to purchase a weather station that relied solely on battery power! The product description needs serious amendment to make this clear. As it is my converter plug has blown and is useless. VERY UNHAPPY with this!

**Q: Do you have to have WiFi/internet to use this?**
A: No WiFi internet needed. I really like this device.

**Q: Is the outdoor sensor waterproof from the rain and snow?**
A: I bought mine in August 2018, so it has been through a Maryland winter.  I mounted the sensor on the shady side of a fence to keep the temperature reading from soaring on a sunny day.  It's been a rainy year and we did have some snow.  I haven't seen any deterioration of performance.  I occasionally check the temperature against the Weather Service temperature, and they are consistently no more than 1 degree apart.  It's hard to check the outdoor relative humidity readings, but they seem logical.

**Q: What is the min. & max. Temp the sensor will work with**
A: Temperature range: -40°F to 140°F (-40 °C to 60 °C)

**Q: Does the barometer work at high altitude (8,000 ft)?**
A: According to the FAQ on page 10 “ • La Crosse Technology products will not read pressure correctly above 6200 ft. in elevation.”
