Tried everything I could, warming it up, oil filter pliers, even a universal one commonly found at AutoZone (shown in photo comparison). I'm sure the universal one has worked for other people but it kept slipping on mine, bad. Decided to call it quits while I waited for this slightly beefier one to come in. Once it did the difference in quality and weight was quite noticeable. I had hope. So I go down to my car to remove the filter... Cramped space, a flex head ratchet, lots of elbow grease 💪🏼, and about 5 minutes is all it took to loosen what had turned into an hour long struggle the day before.
