In other words, how long does an overload take to trip the circuit?** A: Instant for intent of breaker type, ( not a HACR type or time delay) **Q: will this fit a Siemens F2596?** A: While it technically will fit all but the special bars designed for the mini-doubles, it's usually best practice to just order the brand that matches the panel. There's hardly any difference in cost between brands. Yea this Siemans breaker should fit your panel. The question I have is why would you need a single pole 120-Volt breaker? It cannot be connected to serve anything smaller than 10-gauge wire.
