Cast iron griddle better than standard stainless steel bakeware or silicone pizza pan, cast iron heat distribution is more even, providing better grilling effect. The cast iron griddle pan is made of high-quality cast iron metal, with a non-stick surface, heat safety up to 502°F, free of PFOA, safe and healthy

Review: Great griddle! - This griddle is fantastic! Think about when you last went to see teppanyaki (like in a BeniHana restaurant). This works just as well. It fills the whole BBQ (although there is still a little room on the side for anything that needs direct flame. When you are done - you clean it the same way they do. Usually when I BBQ, by the time I am done and go to clean the grates, the food is stuck on. With the griddle, it's so easy to clean it as soon as the last piece of food comes off. this is especially true when cooking steaks as they have to rest anyway. I will use the grates to get the initial sear marks, but then finish with the griddle (and cook everything else at the same time, no matter what the size or shape). If you like to use your BBQ but hate cleaning, digging out food that slipped, hate cleaning those "special" cooking surfaces, etc., just save yourself the pain and buy this instead. Note - if you can search reviews - you will find that I have no problem rating things lower (even 1 star). This is just a great griddle!
Review: 15 pounds of tacos later - Worked great. Just like a stainless pan the metal needs oil to soak in before adding meat. People remember this is Stainless not Stickless you will need to have oil on the surface if you have always cooked with non-stick it will seem like a lots. You need to remember the oil soaks into the grill. If you keep the grill looking new your stuff will stick forever. You need that burnt look. YouTube how to season cast iron, or steal pans. A good video will mention polarization of the oil. Yeah did 15 pounds of tacos... Thin oil film, added meat, scrapped off burned on debris repeat. Only issue I found is the X frame makes the left and right center hotter than the rest of the grill. So flip from the outside of the grill to the middle. I'm thinking about drilling some holes to help the heat travel into the other sections but keep the grill strong

**Q: Can this be used on a glasstop elecrtic range?**
A: No

**Q: I see two different item 25x16 metal and 25x16 non stick. is the 25 x 16 metal is coated with non stick? i am not looking for non stick item.**
A: The one I received was stainless steel.

**Q: Do I have to season a non-stick griddle?**
A: No it’s like cooking with a stainless steel pan. But be careful with these mine warped after a few uses; folded like a taco shell.

This griddle is fantastic! Think about when you last went to see teppanyaki (like in a BeniHana restaurant). This works just as well.
