**Q: Will this work with a linksys router?**
A: Yes it would work with a linksys router. A POE injector will work with any Non POE router or switch.
I didn't like this POE device and ended up using the below.

**Q: Is the 54v output ac or dc?**
A: output is DC,  this item supports 48v poe injector

**Q: Will this work for a device that requires 5V 3A?**
A: You will also need to get a POE splitter. I setup my Wyze cameras on Poe. But the splitter reduces the voltage to 5v, 2.4amps

Works perfectly. I am using these daily for Cisco 8945 and 9971 phones, Ubiquiti AP's and PoE Cameras. Previously I was using inline injectors but those were getting quite hot! This unit never seems to get hot and works well.
