If your concern is whether or not this will damage the rubber bushings and seals, it definitely will. It is for metal to metal applications only and will cause rubber bushings swell. Look at the specs and contents of the product. This product is not grease and has a high viscosity like gear oil. The touch and feel is similar to silicone, if you take a drop of it on your finger and rub it, the finger surfaces are absolutely dry just like a silicone test, which also tells you there is nothing oil-based component in it. Not sure at this time if it is any better than good old silicone that I've been using on my same trucks for last 20 years. BTW, I apply some of it on my new tools I buy and also for lubrication of O-rings since its safe for rubber and plastics. It is green in color and has no smell which I prefer. **Q: Why should not I use copper base anti-seize lube and use this? Please advice.
