Or is it a single piece?** A: The bottom of the bottle is like that of a canning jar, there are slight ridges. I an not sure if this is the product of a "seam" or simply a design inclusion? If you are worried about leaking, this bottle does not leak and I do not see how it even could. Our last soap dispenser had an obvious seam at the bottom and did leak. Not this on. **Q: Is this dishwasher safe ?** A: Yes, it is a glass bottle. I would either hand wash the top or top rack only on a dishwasher. **Q: Does it come in amber? I'd like to use it for peroxide.** A: YES A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE **Q: Could I use this as a body wash dispenser?** A: Of course! I use it in the kitchen and it very durable.
