I do mine twice a year. This is not silicone based. And it also has a much higher dry and wet boiling point than your standard OEM DOT 4's. This stuff is meant for racing. I get a lot less brake fade with this fluid. **Q: is this brake fluid okay to use for regular everyday driving, no racing..?** A: Absolutely. I use it in my 350Z in the clutch system as the piping is near the exhaust and pedal gets squishy in very hot weather. Also it is mixable with regular brake fluid although that would be a waste to me.
