Raising kids in a good, moral Christian home, being in good schools & neighborhoods with extremely devoted parents, still didn't protect their family from the evil of drug addiction. I am so glad I read this book while my kids are still young. I was so touched by the love these parents had for their children going on the 'front lines' to help them. It was also so reaffirming to read the author's connection to the spiritual aspect of all the lessons their family endured. The author's account in Chapter 6 was so vivid, I felt like I was there in that garage too. I simply couldn't put the book down! Having Hannah's personal account in this book was so important...seeing things from her perspective - it made my reading experience even more real. I am rooting for Hannah and I hope we will get a readers' update on her success story. So many lives can be saved & changed by reading this book. I strongly recommend it to anyone but especially for parents of younger children who may not have any issues yet but who can benefit from the guidance and insight this book offers. Once you start reading it, you will keep reading to find out what happens. The eye opening part of this book is that it is true life story of a Christian family whose 3 children found their way into drug abuse. I thank God that has a parent of grown children I never had to experience the tragedy of this book, but I was totally pleased to see how their faith sustained them, and shows there is hope in any terrible life event, if you trust in God. Every parent of young children should read this, or if you have a drug abuse problem. Also if you are a person of faith, this book will build that faith.
