Held up, both sides, under a lot of weight, for a yard sale. Heavy winter coats, jeans, etc. I was a little concerned at the beginning because it looked like one of the rails was soddered together a little off so assembly required the use of two people but my 11 year old son helped me just fine. We also put a board along the bottom rails and then used it to put fabric totes of shoes!
