Review: Great for Steam Deck paired with NReal AR Glasses - If you are using NReal Air (or I supposed their rebranded ZReal Air 2 AR glasses) with the Steam Deck you are not only living the future, but you probably want this adapter. It is the required piece in order to include a docked setup or a charging option during use.
Review: Using a Steam Deck with AR glasses and a mouse and keyboard. - Plug the Steam Deck into the Hub as normal, connect the mouse and keyboard to the hub through the USB ports, then plug in the AR glasses, such as the Xreal, into the HDMI port on the hub through this device. Works perfectly! You cannot use one of those charge and play splitters as the power side does not transfer data and acts as a block between the hub and the Steam Deck communicating.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use a USB c hub to provide power for the moniter and this provide the signal**
A: Maybe, it will depend on what hub you use.

**Q: Can this cable plug into a docking station with usb-c and still provide power + internet connection? or is it only providing a video only connection?**
A: Hi this is hdmi internet doesn’t passed to hdmi signal

**Q: Can i connect my monitors via usbc and to my laptop hdmi port?**
A: Yes, the product is designed to do this. I have had my external USB-C monitor connected to my HDMI laptop port for the past year. I had to buy this because my laptop USB-C port does not support USB-C monitors. My laptop is from 2018, and apparently, USB-C laptop ports this old can't handle a USB-C external monitor. Anyway, it works fine. SIIG is a reliable vendor, and the price is less than what I paid last year.

**Q: Does this work with the Switch? Doesn't work with mine.**
A: I tried to connect it to my ATEM Mini Pro to a monitor. HDMI to USB-C. It didnt work

It send a 1080p image to my Xreal 2 Air Pro glasses, but no sound. I still have to connect headphones to my Xbox controller to get sound.
