Review: Yes! To indoor plants - Been using this for 6 months and I love it! Power usage is low, plenty of light space and can change the height so as to not burn leaves. Had to actually kill off my Jalapeño plants as they just kept fruiting under this light! Pic of 2 drooping prickly pear cuttings and the difference in growth speaks for itself. A couple of electrodes have went but I didn't notice until I took the picture today, doesn't affect use. This is after daily use at 8 hrs/day. Also gives off a nice sunlight style light, not red or blue like other lights so perfect to appreciate my plants under. I want more!

A few niggles from my perspective... The shroud for the lights is white, nice design and with a bold orange "spiderfarmer" logo on both sides, ok. But the power supply is a generic brand BLACK unit that looks adequate for functionality, but stands out like a sore thumb. I would of preferred it in white. On the power supply, there is no power switch or dimmer; I can live without a dimmer on a 100W light, but to have no power switch make turning it on/off cumbersome, meaning you have to invest in a more easy to reach power socket, or a separate switch / extension. All in all, the functionality of the light is outstanding, and I would still recommend. However for the pricetag, I would expect a fully refined design. (Reason for star removed, value, the equivalent meanwell dimmable driver is priced at £55 on desertcart, the LEDs and the coated steel shroud would equate it to being good value at £100. But this does not have the function of the driver I mentioned, it is a simple PCB with no controller or electrical protection in a coated steel reflector/shroud, married with a third-party powerbrick that has no switch and is the completely opposite colour to the product itself.)

**Q: Would i need two for flowering? I notice it doesnt pull much power. Can someone explain?**
A: I have the SF 300 which was the right dimensions( most are far too wide) to fit in my kitchen window. 
I only get direct sunlight for a few hours after sunrise and wanted to start off my vegetables as early in the year as possible. I also have successfully grown tangerine dream peppers which produce copious amounts of flowers and are now covered in ripe orange peppers.
The light doesn’t have the highest output compared to other, more expensive lights but it is still too bright to look at and has a good range of different wavelength quality osram led chips.
I just keep the light 3 inches above the plants and raise it as they grow.
The only issue I can foresee is if your flowering plants bush out further than the dimensions of the light and thus get less light in which case you might require a wider lamp which SF do make.

There are a few good YouTube videos available which might help although some need very powerful lights to grow ‘certain very fragrant’ plants if you follow me !

A: The beam angle from the light is 120 degrees so the coverage/intensity all depends on how high you intend to install the lights

**Q: Is there a minimum amount of space that needs to be left above the light when hanging/in use?**
A: I don’t know for certain but I can say that the top isn’t hot. Personally I would leave some space above for air circulation, but I don’t think it would need much. Hopefully you will get a more definite answer.
