It totally closes the gap and almost looks like it came with the car. The beige shade does not totally match the seat but blends well. It is a very tight fit which is good. But because of the tight fit it squeals because of the faux leather rubbing the side of the console when moving the seats back or forward. This is not a big deal to me because the seats are hardly ever moved. But even if they were constantly moved I would still use them.
