Review: A bear to assemble, but worth it! - So many wood screws with barely there pilot holes!!! It was definitely a struggle to get thru the tiny screws, no lie. Some of the instructions were flat out wrong or so vague to be useless, but you could tell from the pictures what needed to happen. Thankfully my daughter and I work well together and made it thru the entire assembly process in about 5 hours and 1 bottle of wine!😁 There was definitely talk about opening a 2nd!! Anyways, the piece is beautiful, solid, all drawers function well and the sliding cabinet doors glide easily. It was definitely worth the price. Its a great add to the mid-century modern design of my place. Now to find a rug, mirror and decorative accessories.

Besides the wood pieces in front, this sideboard is made of particle board. So you need to know that going in. Its VERY heavy. I wont get into the characteristics of how particle board wears over time. AND... It took me an able bodied man, 5 and a half hours to assemble. I split it over two days. The drawer assembly because the drawer rails need to be screwed in, took me 2 hours. And thats basically step 1. I would say after years of assembling things from box stores and off desertcart. This was the most tedious, loathesome assembly i can ever remember. The good news is that if you do ever complete it, you have something nice to look at. I would give it 5 stars but for the assembly and the particle board.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bear to assemble, but worth it!

So many wood screws with barely there pilot holes!!! It was definitely a struggle to get thru the tiny screws, no lie. Some of the instructions were flat out wrong or so vague to be useless, but you could tell from the pictures what needed to happen. Thankfully my daughter and I work well together and made it thru the entire assembly process in about 5 hours and 1 bottle of wine!😁 There was definitely talk about opening a 2nd!! Anyways, the piece is beautiful, solid, all drawers function well and the sliding cabinet doors glide easily. It was definitely worth the price. Its a great add to the mid-century modern design of my place. Now to find a rug, mirror and decorative accessories.

Besides the wood pieces in front, this sideboard is made of particle board. So you need to know that going in. Its VERY heavy. I wont get into the characteristics of how particle board wears over time. AND... It took me an able bodied man, 5 and a half hours to assemble. I split it over two days. Love the style and construction but was surprised by how dark the wood is and disappointed the top doesn’t match the rest of it (it’s basically black). The instructions were very well written! Be prepared for lots of components and steps but goes together smoothly. Highly recommend having a second person to help! Also the box is very heavy which equals the unit is very heavy. Looking forward to enjoying the look and functionality in the dining room! Would also be an excellent TV console!
