You're supposed to put the hose in the cavity with the end outside the bag to allow the air to escape during dunking/shrinking. If you leave any fluid behind and the end of your tube is in said fluid, it will be rapidly expelled from the hose like a small bloody volcano when the air rushes out of the bag. Lesson learned - my fault, not the product's fault. Dry your birds!
