They are a really good size for my toddler and preschool kids. We are doing a fun garden this year and it's really nice that the kids have their own tools that I'm not super worried about them hurting themselves with. The only thing that I really don't like is each and every single one of these came wrapped in a little plastic bag and then it's so wasteful. They literally could have just put every single one of these little tools into the green bag that they have. Because that keeps them together nicely but no they put each one into a plastic bag and then they even put the green bag in a plastic bag and then they took all of those plastic bag items and put them in a bigger plastic bag. So that was very frustrating so if you're trying to go no ways this definitely has quite a bit of waste. but other than that the items themselves are fine there would and then the little ends are metal pieces but they're not like super sharp or anything so they're very good for younger kids to help in the garden.
