Review: Good quality transformer - Secondary winding no-load voltage with 122v input is 26.2. Gets a bit warm but well within normal levels. Haven't tested under sec load but it's got enough meat I'm sure it will do the rated 24 with no problem.
Review: Works like a transformer - Works like a transformer. Seems well made. This higher-than-normal wattage is needed to drive a gas control valve. Common door-bell type transformer does not have sufficient power.
