As a variety of 'New' potatoes, this was previously known as Suttons Foremost, known as a hit with gardeners who liked its excellent flavour and resistance to disintegration when boiling. First Early varieties generally are ready to harvest 10 – 12 weeks after planting, with the traditional planting time being March – April. Good resistance to common scab. - PERFECT FOR BOILING, SALADS & BAKING: Potatoes are a wonderful staple in our diets, but the variety really does make all the difference. This variety is a hit with gardeners who like its flavour and resistance to disintegration when boiling. Foremost potatoes are short and oval in shape with white skin and waxy white flesh.
