The clear connector comes with the glass container. **Q: Is there a thermal insulation function?** A: No insulation. But to solve this I bought a stainless steel double wall wine cooler by OGGI Barware (for only $9 here on Amazon ) to put the milk cup on ice for more extended periods of time by the machine.
