Are these gloves for handling fake snakes?** A: yes, that is what they are for....fake snakes. **Q: are they bit poof** A: No, Paul they are not bite proof, they are good for non-poisonous snakes. The do make a snake glove for poisonous snakes but they are more expensive. These gloves are very good but I would have to draw a limit and not say they are bite proof. **Q: are they bit poof** A: To be honest since we bought these we haven't had to use them. However they seem like they would be. I would be confident using them.
