Until a few weeks ago I had never heard of an essential oil diffuser. A friend of mine recommended that I try one to help me get to sleep at night.When I looked through all the diffuser choices available, this one really stood out to me. First, I loved the name, and second the colors were really bright!I was leaving for work when I noticed that it had arrived the day before, right on time! Rather than go back inside to drop it off, I put it in my car and took it to work.I actually forgot about it for a few days. I saw it Friday morning and took it into my classroom (I teach High School). That Friday was the last day of school before spring break and you know how excited and talkative the kids are right before a holiday!I set up the diffuser, which was literally 3 minutes from start to finish, and had it up and running when the kids arrived. I had picked out a relaxation essential oil for myself to try...so I used that one for my students as well!All the kids thought it was really cool and loved how it "freshened up" the school smell and how the colors changed from one to the next! I loved that it not only made me feel relaxed but I think it really helped my students! We all managed to get through the day without too many disruptions and I'm pretty sure that the super humidifying mist helped my allergies!I brought it home and have been enjoying it all week! I really like that I can choose the color that I want to see based on my mood ....or let them go through all the choices. I guess I need to buy another one for my classroom now. There are good things about this diffuser - large tank, easy to fill, neat lights - so I've bought this diffuser THREE TIMES --- BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. The on/off buttons (2 of them) are very flimsy and sooner or later you are going to have trouble turning the thing on - lights, too), The buttons first don't work and then after repeated tries they will stick in the diffuser and not pop back out. This is a good diffuser, but I've had three now and sooner or later the "button thing" happened. The last time I bought it it happened within 30 days so I' going to try to return it. People, God Bless You if you've purchased one of these and it's worked a long time. For those of you who are thinking about buying this diffuse -- DON'T.
