Just like puffy stuff inside the socks **Q: How do these hold up to many washes? Other insulated socks of mine have fallen apart in one year.** A: I haven't owned these long enough to answer, but because I have the same concern (that they will fall apart over time due to washing machine stress), I wash these by hand and put them outside to dry.
