Every time I had to bend over to pick something up, the velcro pulled apart.I spent more time putting it back on....what a pain. And speaking of pain, after wearing it for a brief time while sweating, it started to burn my back. I had to take it off and wash my back! I am constantly trying different things to alleviate the pain. When I got this brace, I was skeptical of whether it would work, but the reviews were pretty good so I thought I'd give it a shot. I was confused on how to put it on, but I'm pretty sure the red part goes on the inside. I don't like wearing it directly against my skin, because it causes my skin to get a little irritated/sweaty. I prefer to wear a Cami or tank top, the brace, and then a shirt over it. It corrects my posture and straightens the lower back to avoid sore muscles and poor posture. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it gets REALLY hot, and I wasn't aware it was going to do that. I run hot, though, so that would be why my skin and lower back were so hot and a little sweaty after wearing it at work for most of the day. I am a women's size 10/12 and the large works well for me. There are adjustable Velcro straps, too, to get the fit just right. My back feels a little better, but I have also been stretching and doing yoga, so I think the pain has gotten better because of the combination of all of these things. Overall, I would recommend it if you think you could work on improving your posture.
