Useful for storing food items in fridge, keeps odours in, but is not leakproof, hence not useful for transportation. I needed specifically for fridge storage and was looking for bowls without cumbersome sealing clips, gaskets etc. This has neither. Microwave safe for reheating, without lid. Use only sponge and liquid detergent for washing bowl and lid and it will stay looking new for very long time. Very good as serving bowls too. Capacity is 320mL, so very decent as 250mL would have been too small. It is stackable, which makes it so convenient to stack in fridge and in cupboard/drawers.
