I spent many months calling about Faberware because I wanted to know if they are 18/0 - meaning no nickel - but the people I spoke to did not know for sure. All the answers were contradicting and no one seemed to know the accurate information. They usde to be made in USA and it was easier to get answers. It is confusing because on some of the Faberware packages read 18/0 and the description on the internet reads 18/10 - I tried to find out the true information, but came up empty handed. Lightweight, yet very durable stainless steel. I've used to make rice, boil potatoes, and make cream of wheat cereal, and it is perfect for all tasks. It is comparable in price with much cheaper knock-off brands, and the Farberware quality shines through. Easy to clean, and I love that it came with a stainless steel lid. These are the only lids I use - I've seen the "tempered" glass ones crack and even shatter right over the food, or in dishwater, making them very unsafe. But you can never go wrong with a stainless steel lid that will last forever. Great buy!
