I got what I paid for. It stopped working after one day. The stainless steel cover over the pepper mill side of the device began slipping. It's just a friction fit arrangement, so the pepper mill would no longer grind the pepper. Also, the acrylic casing is thin and the threads that hold on the ends are insubstantial. The result is that it's easy to cross thread the ends.The entire device is cheaply constructed, and it's not worth the trouble to return. Also, if there is a way to grind the salt or pepper without it being finely ground, i haven't figured it out. Its grind it extremely fine.Other than that, its nice. Nice weight, constructed well.
