## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can multiples of the same size nest?  ie, can a 2-cup fit in another 2-cup?**
A: While the bottom of a 2-cup is small enough to fit in the top of another 2-cup, the overlap between the two nesting cups won't be more than an inch.  So, not really.  I have the1/2, 1, 2, & 4 cup and they nest nicely, but I'm pretty sure same size cups won't nest very well.

**Q: can you put boiling water in them? say to add a bouillon cube or something?**
A: I've used the 2 cup measure successfully for:
- melting butter in the microwave
- dissolving bouillon into boiling water for the random 1-2 cups of broth you might need while cooking
- setting aside hot stuff straight from the pan, like brown butter or pan sauce - just pour it right in

**Q: Does the lettering fade?**
A: I wash it 2-3 times a week in the dishwasher. I have had the 4 ounce size for about 4 years and it has not faded yet or shown any signs of wear.

**Q: Can you see through these?**
A: Yes, they are translucent. Not clear like glass, but you can see the contents inside against the measurements on the outside.

Nice size 500ml measuring cups but unusual smell, so I think its not food grade or any better for warming soup etc as other reviews mention...its ok as i needed this for art work pouring colours and wax and resin...Will see how long it lasts , keeping it as I require it for my work Note: its made in China so don't know how reliable as it smells weird chemical..
