**Q: What are the ingredients as listed on the can please?**
A: I couldn't remove label to take a picture.  It says "INGREDIENTS:  CORN STARCH, EGG WHITES, SUGAR, GUM ARABIC, CALCIUM SULFATE, CITRIC ACID, CREAM OF TARTAR, ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, SILICON DIOXIDE."  MADE IN A FACILITY THAT ALSO PROCESSES PEANUTS, FISH, SHELLFISH, MILK, SOY AND WHEAT PRODUCTS. SERVING SIZE:  2 tsp (6gm) Approx. 19 per container; Fat=0g/Sodium=25 mg/Total Carbohydrate=4 g/Protein=2 g"Hope this is useful  : )

**Q: Which ingredient is the California Prop 65 warning referring to?**
A: Probably the SILICON DIOXIDE, though eating it is generally safe. Like yeah don’t sandblast with this meringue powder.  Prop 65 is so useless and vague.

**Q: Does it say when the powder expires?**
A: The Lot# on the lid gives the expiration date.  First 2 numbers are the year....next 3 are the Julian calendar date.  (1-365 days of the year)

**Q: does this meringue powder make good topping for pies**
A: Not sure if it ll help but my usage has given me brilliant results in buttercream ( need to maintain shape while decorating) reason- its pure eggs whites. stands to reason any recipes that call for egg whites will work with the powder. just be careful of the liquid you use, like instead of hot water i use cream in my buttercream. but bottomline nothing beats the real thing for a pie topping :)

So the meringue is good. It tastes like a meringue mix and not nearly as good as homemade of course. I was surprised by the size though. I thought since it was the larger size option it was the size I bought at the store but I guess wilton has redesigned packaging options because it is SMALL!! Made only 4 batches of royal icing for our gingerbread houses - I'd say about 3/4 cup of powder.
