**Q: Can I use circular knitting needles?**
A: Circular Knitting Needles are the only needles I use when I'm working on large projects like knitted Afghans.    I've ordered almost ALL of my Circular Needles from Amazon, and keep the different sizes of Needles  AND  the lengths of the "Cables"  in separate Mesh Bags (also from Amazon) to I can easily locate the needles I need for the particular project !

**Q: What size in mm crochet hook would I need?**
A: depends on your pattern. I used a 9, but have used a 12 before on this. You can use a finger knit design also.

**Q: how many scarves would one cake yield?**
A: Its hard yarn to crochet with because of the thickness. It would probably make 8 scarves depending on the sizes. Using a 9 mm hook is easier to work with instead of the 15 mm recommended. Unless you want A lose scarf. Honestly, I bought it to make my daughter a hand warning scarf & I ended up making a blanket with it instead. I'd try another yarn to make scarves with. If you're looking for A "thick" tan to make them with, I'd use Bernat Blanket yarn.
